What Is Tallow:

Tallow is all natural, rendered beef fat.

It undergoes a purification process called rendering; a practice that has been taken from the wisdom of our ancestors and practiced for generations. Tallow is a nutrient rich ingredient that is known for its skin healing properties. Tallow closely mimics the fatty acid profile of our skin, and because it shares a similar biological makeup it is easily absorbed by our skin without clogging pores. Tallows healing properties can be attributed to its rich content of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidants. These components together can nourish, hydrate, reduce inflammation, and promote skin regeneration.

Our tallow is sourced from pasture raised cattle from our family ranch in Eastern Oregon. It is then rendered and turned into skin care products right here in our home.

All additional ingredients are natural, organic, and incorporate therapeutic qualities so we can provide you with the most quality skincare products possible. This means it is free from harsh chemicals, and preservatives, making it a shelf stable, safe and natural choice for your skincare routine.

Liberty Press started out as a jewelry business, which grew into a jewelry and apparel business. Over time, we began to feel called to offer tallow products as well as a health-conscious option for cosmetic use. Through the seasons of working this business, we found that it was most practical, and we were most passionate about continuing to pursue tallow production over apparel and jewelry. We are so grateful for the products that led us to this point, but from now on Liberty Press Co. will focus solely on tallow and organic-healthy cosmetic alternatives (with a few fun complimentary shop items on the side)
